The woman's health was fragile and police did not have much time to call an ambulance. Without a moment's delay, the police put the woman in a police vehicle and took her to Nair Hospital.

The woman’s condition was critical and was deteriorating. As it was taking time to get to the hospital, it was time to give birth in the police car. The female staff present in the car successfully made all arrangements for the pregnant woman to deliver in the police car and protected the life of the woman and baby.

The woman was seven months pregnant. But she gave birth prematurely. The mother's condition is safe and the baby has been kept in the intensive care unit of The Nair hospital.
