PM Modi reached Doda in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
Addressing an election rally here, he said that this time, the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections are between three families and the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. On one side are these three families, and on the other are “my young sons and daughters of Jammu and Kashmir, who have set out on their journey with dreams,” he said.
He added, “Of these three families, one is from Congress, one from National Conference and one from PDP. What these three families have done to you in Jammu and Kashmir is no less than a sin.”
The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections 2024 will be held in three phases, marking the first elections since the abrogation of Article 370. The last Assembly elections were held in 2014. Voting will take place in three phases: the first on September 18, the second on September 25, and the third on October 1, 2024. The vote counting will be held on October 8.
