Prime Minister Narendra Modi finally broke his silence over the protests against the Kathua and Unnao rape cases where a small girl was brutally raped inside a forest in the Jammu & Kashmir. Modi said that justice will done while without mentioning the name of the incidents.

"These incidents have caused great shame to our country. The turn of events that have been discussed for these two days should not be happened in a civilised society. The culprits won't be allowed to escape", said the PM.

The Prime Minister also said that our daughters will definitely get justice while speaking at the memorial dedicated to Dr BR Ambedkar.

Modi came out with a response soon after the Congress President urged him to give answers to the issue.

The Kathua crime case had come into lime light in the national level after the crime branch reported that the girl was brutally raped after she was absconded on January 10.
