Amitabh Bachchan is the most popular star in the history of Indian cinema. The legendary and iconic star who needs no introduction, we might fall short of words for him. The Big B (known fondly) Amitabh Bachchan has been ruling the industry for ages for his charismatic personality. He made his debut in 1969 in the movie Saat Hindustani. It has been 52 years since he started his journey. He has blessed our Indian cinema with movies like Deewaar, Zanjeer, Abhimaan, Coolie, Khuda Gawah, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Sooryavansham, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Mohabbatein, Baghban, Paa, Sarkar, and Gulabo Sitabo, to name a few.

Bachan, who had many flops after Saat Hindustani his debut, got fame in the 1970’s post the film Anand (1971) and Zanjeer(1973). Later his on-screen persona made him the hero and the “angry young man” whom people and fans looked up to. He was a part of the Hindi film industry’s classics like Sholay, Silsila, Amar Akbar Anthony, and Black too. He is a recipient of the awards like the Padma Shri (1984), the Padma Bhushan (2001), Padma Vibhushan (2015), and Dadasaheb Phalke Award (2019). He made his  Hollywood debut in Baz Luhrmann's 3D adaptation of The Great Gatsby too. His later notable films included the comedy Piku (2015), for which he won his fourth National Film Award, and Pink (2016), the crime drama Badla (2019) was also among the biggest hits of Bachchan’s career.
