New Delhi: Addressing fellow citizens before the budget session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India is the fastest-growing economy among the large economy countries. We are continuously progressing, with 8 percent growth in the last three years. PM Modi said, “I want to urge the MPs of all the parties of the country that since last January, we have fought as much as we had to with the capacity we had and have told what we had to tell the public.” He emphasised the crucial role of MPs in this progress, urging them to continue their efforts for the country’s growth.

He said, “Some tried to show the way, and some tried to mislead. Now that period is over. The country has given its decision. Now, it is the duty of all the elected MPs and the special responsibility of all the political parties that we have to fight for the country during the coming five years.” He urged the MPs to unite and take forward a decent fight in the country’s interest.
