PM Surya Ghar Yojana Impact: Electricity Bill Becomes Zero in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar

188 0

The installation of solar panels under the PM’s ‘Surya Ghar Yojana’ in Samarth Nagar, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, has fostered a sense of community and collective effort. Previously, some residents were burdened with hefty electricity bills of Rs 10,000 to 14,000 every month. Now, with the collective adoption of solar panels, the community has significantly reduced its carbon footprint and the electricity bill has become zero.

This scheme has not only provided economic relief but also contributed significantly to environmental protection. By reducing the reliance on traditional energy sources, the ‘Surya Ghar Yojana’ is helping to reduce carbon emissions and combat climate change.

The solar panels, a result of the Prime Minister’s ‘Surya Ghar Yojana ‘, not only generate electricity during the day but also store the excess energy in the grid. This provides a sense of security and reliability, ensuring uninterrupted power supply even at night.

With government subsidy, installing solar panels has become cheap and accessible, allowing the residents of Samarth Nagar to use electricity without any worries. This initiative is not only reducing electricity expenses but also helping move the country towards green energy.
