5G Smartphones in India b

Realme and iQoo are offering India’s first 5G smartphones for customers but what will you do with it without a 5G network? Western nations and China are far ahead in telecommunications technology and India is lagging behind far. This however, hasn’t stopped smartphone companies from launching 5G phones for Indian market.

With no 5G market and virtually none going to be there for the next couple of years the buzz on 5G phones offered by these mobile manufacturers is nothing but marketing hype. Why I should buy a 5G phone as a showpiece when I can’t use it the way I should, asks a customer.

Qualcomm came out with 5G modems and recently Snapdragon 865 was also launched.  While Realme launched X50 Pro 5G, iQoo launched the iQoo 3 phone. Both these phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, the chip bundled with 5G modem.

Market sources point out that 5G smartphones will gain popularity and attract buyers when India gets 5G network.
