Rupee slightly up trades

ME NEWS BUREAU: The rupee edged up 3 paise to 64.02 against the dollar on Tuesday as the US cash lost some muscle abroad. Exporters and banks avoided the American money as capital inflows bounced.

The dollar's brilliance darkened against different monetary standards all around, which bolstered the nearby unit.

In the opening session, the household unit was up by 3 paise at 64.02. On Friday, it had finished level at 64.05.

Stock benchmark Sensex rose 65.07 focuses, or 0.19 for each penny, to a record high at 34,005.37 and the Nifty went up 22.10 focuses, or 0.21 for each penny, to another pinnacle of 10,515.10 in early session today.
