Bollywood Stars Kareena, Twinkle, Rakul, Ayushmann Applaud Neeraj Chopra for Olympic Silver

Mumbai: Neeraj Chopra received overwhelming response and support from Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Twinkle Khanna, Rakul Preet Singh, and Ayushmann Khurrana after winning a silver medal in the men’s javelin throw final at the Olympics in Paris.

Using the power of social media, Kareena took to Instagram Stories to share a picture of Neeraj, captioning it with a simple yet powerful message: ‘Champion,’ followed by rainbow and star emojis.

Twinkle also took to Instagram and shared an article from her digital media company, Tweak India, which has been acquired by the Good Glamm Group. The headline read: “Neeraj Chopra brings home India’s first silver at Olympic 2024.”

Rakul Preet said: “Woohoo! Neeraj, you’ve done it again! Congratulations on securing your second Olympic medal! India beams with pride!”

Ayushmann shared a picture of Neeraj holding the Indian flag and said, “India’s shining star… Shabaash Neeraj.”

Nimrat Kaur wrote: “Champion. Legend. The pride of India!!”

Neeraj entered the final and threw the javelin to 89.45 m in the Paris Olympics. Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem broke the Olympic Record with a monster heave of 92.97 metres and won the gold medal.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena was last seen in the heist comedy film Crew. The movie featured Tabu and Kriti Sanon alongside Kareena in the lead roles. Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma played pivotal characters in the Rajesh Krishnan-directed film.

She next has ‘Singham Again’ in the pipeline.

Rakul last appeared in the Tamil vigilante action film Indian 2, directed by S. Shankar and jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. The movie is a sequel to the 1996 film Indian, and Kamal Haasan reprises his role as Senapathy.

The diva next has ‘Meri Patni Ka Remake’, and ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ in the pipeline.

Ayushmann was last seen in the comedy-drama Dream Girl 2, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures.

The movie stars Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh and Seema Pahwa.
