The singer-songwriter Nick Jonas shared on Instagram an exclusive photo from the day he proposed to his wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, taking fans on a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
The musician shared an older picture of himself proposing to his then-girlfriend Priyanka Chopra on Instagram.
Nick smiles at the camera as Priyanka covers her face and flashes her engagement ring in the photo.
Nick captioned the photo: “I asked the most amazing woman in the world to marry me 6 years ago today. Thank you for saying yes @priyankachopra.”
Fans of the couple flooded the comments section with joyful remarks, often referring to Nick as “Jiju.”
Priyanka reposted the picture on her Instagram stories, writing, “Cannot believe it’s been 6 years since this day.”
The couple exchanged vows on December 1 and 2, 2018, at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, in a lavish ceremony that honoured both Christian and Hindu customs, a significant milestone in their journey.
Following the wedding, they held two banquets for weddings, one in Mumbai and one in Delhi, showcasing their cultural exchange and respect for each other’s traditions.
In January 2022, they welcomed their daughter via surrogacy.
Priyanka recently spent her birthday on the sets of the film “The Bluff,” one of her future projects. Nick made sure she had a nice day even though he couldn’t be there in person by setting up a dosa truck on the movie set and providing cheese, onion, plain masala dosas, and Mysore masala, a testament to their ability to balance personal and professional lives.
Nick and his brothers Joe and Kevin travelled to India earlier this year to participate in the second Lollapalooza India, a multi-genre music event.
Nick and Priyanka were also present at Anant-Radhika Ambani’s wedding reception in Mumbai.
