Media Eye News Bureau: ABC’S popular sitcom Modern Family is slated to conclude next year after 10 seasons of the Pritchett family, as confirmed by the show’s co-creators Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd.

The news of the finale was announced after the show's 200^th episode, which earned 5.8 million views. The show is a hit and has won the award for the Outstanding Comedy Series at the Emmys for five consecutive years.

The show has been very advantageous for its star cast with Sofia Vergara earning an astounding $41.5 million last year. Besides the younger actors on the series, Ariel Winter, Sarah Hyland, Rico Rodriguez and Nolan Gould reportedly made at least $100,000 per episode.

Apart from this, the show has bagged 22 total Emmy wins for its crew and cast with actors Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, and Eric Stonestreet receiving Emmys for their work on Modern Family.

 However, reports suggest that the show may not altogether end with season 10 as there are talks of a spin-off to continue the storylines of the families.
