Media Eye News Bureau: A last post was shared on Sridevi's Twitter, hours after she was cremated with state honours in Mumbai. Sridevi passed away on February 24. She was 54. She was in Dubai attending nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding. A post-mortem revealed that she had drowned in her hotel bathtub.
Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor posted an emotional note from her account as he mourned her death and expressed that, “To the world, she was their Chandni, the actor par excellence, their Sridevi, but to me, she was my love, my friend, mother to our girls, my partner. To our daughters, she was their everything, their life. She was the axis around which our family ran.”
