BTS member J-Hope (Jung Hoseok) made his solo debut on Billboard's charts at No. 3 on the Emerging Artists chart.

J-Hope's debut is powered by his first solo EP titled Hope World, which arrives at No. 63 on the Billboard 200 with 9,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending March 1 which is notably the highest rank ever for a solo K-pop artist on the Billboard 200. BTS also holds the overall record among K-pop acts with their album Love Yourself: Her.

J-Hope is the third member of BTS to reach the Emerging Artists chart. RM (Kim Namjoon) was the first when he debuted and peaked at No. 46 when he featured on Fall Out Boy’s ‘Champion.’ Agust D aka Suga in BTS (Min Yoongi) was the second when he debuted and peaked at No. 46 as well.

Meanwhile, J-Hope’s solo album Hope World includes seven tracks that explore serious aspects of his life in the most fun filled, energetic way. The songs talk about how he views himself and his life. So far, two music videos for his songs have released titled Daydream and Airplane.
