It was recently reported that the Black Widow solo movie was finally in development, with Scarlett Johansson returning for the lead role. Marvel Studios has yet to reveal if it's on the schedule.
However during an interview Chris Evans, who plays Captain America in the Marvel films recently stated, “There's nothing [Marvel Studios] can't do. And I'm sure it's gonna have the exact same effect when Captain Marvel comes out, and then the Black Widow movie comes out. Marvel just has the winning recipe and they're kind of one step ahead of everybody else.”
Nothing is confirmed as of yet as Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige hasn’t divulged any details for the same. Johansson’s Black Widow will be appearing next in Marvel’s stellar film Avengers: Infinity War on May 4, 2018.
