Media Eye News Bureau: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child, a baby girl at 12:47 a.m on Monday, January 15, 2018 via a surrogate.
Kim announced the arrival of her baby on her website in a heartfelt message that read, "Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."
The baby was born at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Kim was the first person to hold her newborn followed by husband Kanye West. The couple was joined by Kris Jenner and Kim's sisters at the hospital as well. The baby’s name has not been revealed yet.
Kim's had two very difficult pregnancies with Kim suffering from early-onset preeclampsia with her first child North and had to deliver almost six weeks early in 2013. She suffered from placenta accreta, a condition where the placenta remains attached to the wall of the uterus during her pregnancy with her second child Saint and the latter condition occurred during both deliveries, which was a major factor due to which Kimye opted to have their third child via surrogacy.
