Media Eye News Bureau: Logan Paul has returned to YouTube after a three-week hiatus from social media after he received public backlash for posting a video in Japan’s ‘suicide forest’ titled “We found a dead body in the Japanese Suicide Forest,” where he filmed a suicide victim with only the face blurred out, which was viewed more than 6 million times before it was taken down.

In the video, Paul jokes about the body and seemingly approaches the subject of suicide with an unacceptable levity. He has now returned to YouTube with a video a video on suicide and self-harm prevention titled ‘Suicide: Be Here Tomorrow.’

Recently, YouTube removed Paul from the Google Preferred ad program and suspended work on his originals.

In the new video, Paul interviews a survivor of a suicide attempt, Kevin Hines, an entrepreneur and motivational speaker who survived jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge and speaks with the founder of Alo House Recovery rehab centre as well as the director of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. He even pledges to donate $1 million to suicide prevention as well. The video also showcases several shots of him walking through the grass sombrely and at one point helping a puppy cross a river.
