Netflix has released the first full trailer for its modern-day reboot of Irwin Allen's classic 1965 sci-fi series called Lost in Space. The series follows the story of space-colonists Robinson family, who find themselves in an unknown alien territory after their spaceship veers off-course in a space-time incident.
The trailer is approximately three minutes and begins with the Robinson family in their spaceship flying over a planet where a collision with massive space debris forces them to crash land on the snow-clad regions of the planet.
Neil Marshall has reportedly helmed several episodes of Lost in Space. The show has been created by writing duo Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless with Zack Estrin as the showrunner. The series stars Maxwell Jenkins as Will Robinson, Taylor Russell as Judy Robinson, Toby Stephens and Molly Parker as the Robinson parents and Parker Posey as Dr. Smith among others.
Lost in Space is set to release on Netflix on April 13, 2018.
