Media Eye News Bureau: ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ actress, Shilpa Shinde won the 11th season of the reality show Bigg Boss and defeated fellow contestant Hina Khan during a live vote in the show. She received Rs. 44 lakh and a trophy as the prize. Other finalists were Vikas Gupta and Puneesh Sharma.
The episode commenced with a performance by Salman Khan on the theme song of his film, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ where he was joined by all four finalists. The finale marked the appearance of Akshay Kumar as the special guest who came on the show to promote his new movie, ‘Padman,’ alongside host Salman Khan. Akshay Kumar also performed along with two evicted contestants, Dhinchak Pooja and Sapna Choudhary.
The reality show also had performances between contestants Vikas Gupta and Shilpa Shinde, Puneesh Sharma and Bandgi Kalra, Hina Khan, Priyank Sharma and Luv Sinha and others.
