Mumbai: The protesters, arrested here for allegedly obstructing and assaulting police during the Aarey Colony trees felling, were released from prison after bail was issued, officials said on Monday. Police have also relaxed prohibitory orders imposed in the Aarey Colony and its surrounding areas. The arrests were made in the Aarey Colony on Friday and Saturday after clashes broke out between police and environmental activists opposed axing trees.
