On Monday, A man allegedly stabbed his daughter repeatedly with a sharp weapon at her Place in West Bengal's 24 North Parganas district for marrying without his permission, police and family members said. The locals said the girl had a love affair with Shankar Haldar, a Godown resident under the Ashoknagar police station. Majumdar entered the house on Sunday and repeatedly stabbed her with a sharp weapon. Three months ago the couple got married, two families are constantly at loggerheads. The victim first admitted to Ashoknagar hospital from where she was moved to Baasat hospital as her condition turned bleak. She's had 18 stitches on her head.
