Kolkata: On the morning of 25 August 2024, a CBI team reached the Beleghata house of Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Hospital.
Dr Sandeep went to CBI’s CGO Complex office on August 24.
On the orders of Calcutta High Court, CBI is investigating the case of rape and murder of a woman doctor.
In addition, the court has also assigned the investigation of financial irregularities in that hospital to the CBI.
The central agency is investigating Dr Sandeep Ghosh, the hospital’s former principal, in both cases.
On August 24, the CBI registered an FIR regarding financial irregularities, and it is believed that the CBI came to Sandeep Ghosh’s house on the basis of the same FIR.
