The office of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal received two e-mails from an anonymous e-mail ID that supposedly threatened to kill him. A case has been recorded by the Delhi Police and is trying to define the suspect.

The emails were received on the chief minister's official email ID–first on July 25 and second on July 30 said police.

Deputy police commissioner (unique cyber cell) Anyesh Roy said a complaint was obtained from the home department of the Delhi government about the threat messages.

"A case was recorded under section 506 of the Indian Penal Code (punishment for criminal intimidation). Our teams try to define the suspect and nab him," said DCP Roy.
