Heavy rain disrupts norma

The devastating rain that started since yesterday night wreaked havoc in the Mumbai city as four people killed in the resultant flood of the severe rain. Train services disrupted in the heavy rain as local train are running late.

Malabar Hill, Dharavi and Hindmata have been affected with water logging. BMC officials have been relentlessly trying to pump the water out from roads using motor.

Meanwhile the compound wall of a residential complex in south Mumbai's Wadala collapsed, taking along 15 parked cars. Dramatic pictures showed five other cars covered in debris. The civic body and the fire department have vacated an entire wing of the Lloyds Estate which houses many bankers. No casualties have been reported, reports NDTV.
