King’s circle in Matunga was heavily flooded as heavy rain disrupts normalcy in Mumbai for the second day. A very old Pipal tree fell across the road and on the compound wall of the Jain temple near the King’s Circle police station damaging an Addnl Commissioner of Police’s car parked there.
Fire brigade personnel and police were clearing the debris. People are wading through the water. Fearing heavy rains today most people preferred to stay home and the trains were not much crowded as one passenger coming from Dombivili in the morning said “ surprisingly I could sit and come in the train in the peak hour today.” Most of the roads were waterlogged.
