According to sources, the victim doctor’s family members told the central agency investigators that their daughter had complained about needless pressure being placed on her and that she was frequently assigned extra work at unusual hours.

According to additional sources, central agency authorities are attempting to determine whether Ghosh, the medical college’s principal at the time, was aware of these developments or had taken any action to fix the system.

On Friday, the CBI officials questioned some other trainee and junior doctors to get an idea of what happened that night before the ghastly event. They also questioned the head of the hospital’s chest medicine department and an assistant superintendent.

The statements of other junior and trainee doctors who had dinner with the victim doctor on the night of the incident have been recorded.

Additionally, all 49 of the outsourced agency’s security personnel who are now stationed at the campus have been summoned by CBI investigators for interrogation. Thirteen of them have already been questioned by CBI officials.

In the meantime, the victim’s relatives have persistently told the media that they do not think Sanjay Ray, the civic volunteer who was arrested in this case, was the sole person responsible for the horrific deed.

They claimed that there was no doubt that certain hospital insiders were responsible for the horrific event.
