Chennai: Two females in their early twenties alleged that on July 28 they were thrown out of a Chennai hotel because of their behavior that the hotel claimed had insulted other guests ' sensibilities.The girls involved were Rasika Gopalakrishnan and Shivangi Singh.

"My friend and I decided to go on a Saturday night to a bar called The Slate Hotels. There were 4 to 5 men standing at the bar while dancing and looking at us constantly, making us very uncomfortable," Gopalakrishnan posted on Facebook. According to her, the two went into the washroom."Moments later, at our door, we hear frenzied knocks, ordering us to leave the washroom. In the washroom there were 4 male bouncers and 1 female bouncer, requesting to understand what we were doing together in the washroom. They accused us of' doing something else,' they advised us that the customers had received' several complaints,' and they insisted that we leave instantly. So we left. said Gopalakrishnan.
