Mirzapur (Uttar Pradesh), Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi was arrested here at the Chunar Guest House after being prevented from going to the village of Murtiya in the district of Sonebhadra in Uttar Pradesh where ten individuals were murdered in a property dispute.
The leader of the Congress arrived in Varanasi on Friday morning and met the wounded at Banaras Hindu University who were admitted to the Trauma Center. Her convoy was halted at the Mirzapur frontier when she proceeded toward Sonebhadra.
