New Delhi: Mounir Nasraoui, the father of Spanish teenaged star football player Lamine Yamal, was reportedly stabbed in a parking lot near Barcelona and was taken to a hospital immediately.
In a car park on Frank Marshall Street in the Rocafonda neighbourhood of Mataro, Nasraoui was stabbed multiple times on Wednesday night between nine and ten o’clock, according to the local newspaper La Vanguardia.
He was brought to the Can Ruti Hospital’s emergency room while in a critical state. He is now thought to be stable.

Local sources informed the newspaper that the fight in the parking lot was a precursor to the altercation before it got out of hand.
Mataro police are now looking into the assault. Even though the precise reasons for the attack are still unknown, it is believed that the stabbing may have been the consequence of an earlier altercation.
