Varanasi: On the fifth and last Monday of the month of Shravan, a massive crowd of devotees gathered at Kashi Vishwanath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.
The entire campus echoed the slogan of “Har Har Mahadev.”
After the morning ‘Mangala Aarti’ and ‘shringar’ (ritualistic make-up), the doors opened for the devotees, who continuously performed ‘Jalabhishek’.
It is believed that on Shravan Purnima, at Kashi Vishwanath, Shankar-Parvati and family give darshan to devotees.
