Katihar (Bihar): The fasting policewoman says, “I am from the police line, posted as a constable. I am observing the Karwa Chauth fast while managing my duties, and I am upholding my varta dharma, taking care of both my in-laws and parents. Balancing law and order, and looking after my children and family, I will continue to celebrate this festival so that my family remains safe and well.”
Karwa Chauth was observed on Sunday, October 20 this year.
