New Delhi: After the defeat in the Haryana Assembly elections, BSP Bahujan Samaj Party President Mayawati said in a press conference:
“We need to strengthen the party again at every level. However, you all know that in the 18th Lok Sabha elections, the Congress-led India alliance misled the innocent SC, ST and OBC communities by adopting tactics like ‘Save Constitution’ and ‘Save Reservation’. They got most of their votes, strengthening his alliance, which caused huge losses to parties like ours. After the elections held in Jammu and Kashmir, and Haryana, our party could not free its people from their other tactics and conspiracies. Due to this, the party suffered huge losses in these elections. Now, we have to stay safe from their tactics.”
