1) Pomegranate

4) Potatoes

* They are excellent source of two immunity boosters vitamin C and B6. They are also good for pregnant women. Purple coloured potatoes are rich in anthocynins and  antioxidants that are linked to host health benefits that helps in lowering cancer and other heart diseases.

 

5) Root Vegetables

* Vegetables like beet, carrots and turnips can help you withstand the cold in winter. Roast carrots for a boost of beta-carotene or  boil turnips for vitamin A and C.
