ME NEWS BUREAU: US President Donald Trump once again fumed over inadequate actions being taken by the Pakistan in dismantling the terror activities emanating from that country. He tweets "no more" while referring his plans on future financial aid to Pakistan.

Trump said that his country had "foolishly" given USD 33 billion in aid to Pakistan for the last 15 years to wipe out terror activities but instead they gave safe haven to the terrorists which the US are tracing in Afghanistan for years.

"We make massive payments every year to Pakistan… They have to help," he said at the launch of the national security strategy, a few days earlier.

US President came down heavily on Pakistan days after putting them on the notice during his national security strategy meeting on Afghanistan and South Asia. Trump also recently disclosed his plans to rethink the mighty USD 255 billion anti-terror aid to Pakistan moments after US Defence Secretary Mike Pence made a visit to Kabul.

Trump's latest anguish put an end to speculations on his attitude towards Islamabad for failing to cooperate on counter-terrorism from within and outside the US administration.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif took to Twitter to reply to Trump's comments and said that they will respond to US President's tweets on his Pakistan strategy within a short while.

Meanwhile former Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan Vivek Katju said that Donald Trump's tweet "is a reflection of his frustration and impatience".

"Rather than applying consistent and increasing pressure, the Trump administration had more or less adopted the policy of old US administration in going backwards and forwards and giving Pakistan rope. And Pakistan is a master at playing the Americans," Katju said.
