Summer is here! And so are the summer trends. A seasonal change also means changes in wardrobe as well. Although summer may not be the most favourite season for most Indians, there is an endless array of choices when it comes to experimenting with looks. There is lot to explore from different styles to fabrics and patterns. Right from accessories to clothes that would make you cool for the summer.

  • Prefer the Pastels

While black and many other darker colours are what are generally preferred by most, however, pastels are the way to go this summer as not only do they look cool, the even keep you cool as well. Darker colours have a tendency to trap more heat, making you feel stuffier. Moreover you can experiment a lot with pastels, especially with shades such as lavender, millennial pink, pastel blue or mint green and so on.

  • Speaking of Sparkles

Sequins and glitter are taking over 2018 trends and how! From sequinned blazers to tops and even dresses, a glittery outfit is the sure short way to make sure that all eyes are on you and to enable you to add some bling to you dull outfit and shine bright like a diamond and to add that pop of colour and have some fun in the sun!

Bold floral patterns are where it’s at this year. The emphasis on floral prints is because the print gives a soft look to the fabric while still making quite the statement. Besides, summer is the perfect time to give yourself that fun, fresh, flirty makeover.

  • Primary Prisms

Summer isn’t just about pretty pastels but is also about colour as well. From rainbow stripes to primary colours there are no real rules to multi-colour, apart from wearing a lot of it as it adds a contemporary boldness to you ensemble.

  • Sheer Comfort

Summer is all about being as comfortable as possible. Opt for fabrics that are sheer or thin which would give you room to breathe and look trendy at the same time. If you aren’t entirely comfortable with the material being too sheer, you could also go for thin fabrics such as cotton as well.

  • Trendy Textures

Be it in tops or skirts textures such as ruffles, fringes or even feathers go with the 2018 vibe and what’s more is that you can never go wrong with them as there is a lot of room for experimentation with them as well.

  • Short It Out

Shorts are a sure short way to keep you looking trendy yet comfortable for the summer as you could experiment with colours as well as its fabrics. Besides shorts, you could even opt for wearing mini or midi skirts as well.

  • Go With The Flow

Flowy summer dresses paired with flip flops or sneakers could give your outfit a comfortable yet chic look. You could also wear flowy tops with leggings as well to give you a casual yet put together look.
