New Delhi: Two days before the hanging of the four convicts in the Nirbhaya trial, one of them has appealed to a Delhi court to place the execution on hold.
This is the latest in a series of appeals the convicts have submitted in their efforts to delay their death sentence. Akshay Singh went to court at Patiala House for a stay for hanging on the 1st of February. Also today the Supreme Court will hear his curative petition challenging his death sentence.
