Anniversary for UPA Government

UPA-2 government is all prepared to celebrate their 4th anniversary on Wednesday, highlighting their achievements along with presentation of a report card displaying their previous year’s accomplishments to be unveiled by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Singh is supposed to address a group meeting to be held at his residence, and if sources are to be believed recent political controversies and measures taken to fight corruption will be main topics of discussion.
 
Main focus will be given to last 9 years achievements by UPA government. The report will draw attention to the issue on how average life of a common Indian man evolved through last 9 years, explaining how poverty went down to 350 million from 400 million eventually. Singh is all set to take the credit of Karnataka victory, stressing on the faith revoked by people on Congress to lead a successful government. Nuclear deal, MNREGA, and Right to Information Act will be other relevant subject to be handled during the meeting. 
 
Singh appealed all to take a healthy look at the fulfilments of UPA government continued on all these years and evaluate the anti-poverty drive government has conducted through flagship schemes. Rule of law is smoothly established and fund flow to states is provided systematically.
