Expressing his opinion on the controversial Citizenship Act that caused widespread unrest in the nation, Union Minister Pratap Sarangi said on Saturday that those who set the country on fire and do not accept India's freedom, unity, Vande Mataram have no right to stay in India. Weighing in on the matter, he said it was introduced to correct partition errors, saying it was a sin committed by Congress. "CAA should have happened 70 years ago. CAA is a way of atoneing for the sin committed by our forefathers, a select few leaders. And for that we should be congratulating PM Narendra Modi. Congress perpetrated the sin and we are being atoned for it, "he said.
