New Delhi: Tis Hazari Court of Delhi on Tuesday amended its bail conditions for Chandra Shekhar Azad, head of the Bhim Army, enabling him to visit the national capital after informing local police. Azad was granted bail last week but was not allowed to go to Delhi for the next four weeks and was asked to mark his presence at Uttar Pradesh with the Saharanpur Police every Saturday during the time. He had again moved the court to seek a modification of the bail conditions. In a new order on Tuesday, judge Kamini Lau said Azad will mark it whenever in Saharanpur, instead of marking attendance every Saturday, and if he marks DCP Crime in Delhi on Saturday. If not in either place, he'll telephonically inform of whereabouts to DCP Crime, the court said.
