Latest medical test result of the Kerala medical woman student who came back from Wuhan becoming India’s first case for the novel coronavirus is negative. Doctors treating her have reported her condition to be stable.
The state health department has said that 34 people are treated in isolation across various hospitals in Kerala. A senior medical officer from the National Institute of Virology (NIV) testing centre in Alapuzzha said that the blood test result of the patient from Thrissur was negative. He added that confirmation from NIV, Pune is awaited.
