Court acquits Haryana policeman of rape charge A court here Monday acquitted a Haryana Police constable in a rape case, terming the allegation "motivated".
 
 
 Additional District Judge Alka Malik acquitted constable Mange Ram of the charge.
 
 A 26-year-old married woman had filed a complaint at the Sadar police station against Ram May 16, saying she was raped by deception. The complainant, originally from the state's Hisar district, now lives in a colony here, while Ram was also posted at Sadar police station.
 
 The defense counsel told the court that during the medical examination of the women, no mark was found on her body.
 
 He also told the court that prior to rape complaint, she had filed two complaints in same police station saying that her husband Sunil Kumar was duped by Mange Ram of Rs.711,000. One of these was filed April 25.
 
 He argued said that the rape charge was motivated and the real dispute was some thing else.
 
 Mange Ram was arrested soon after the case was registered.
