Delhi Police said Tuesday it found a link between Kapil Baisala, who had been arrested for firing near the anti-CAA protest site in Shaheen Bagh town, and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as the alleged shooter joined the party last year. The Crime Branch that is investigating the case found images on Kapil Baisala's mobile phone where he is seen with AAP leaders including Atishi and Sanjay Singh. Baisala had shot two rounds in the air at Shaheen Bagh on February 1 where anti-CAA demonstrations have been ongoing for more than a month now.
