On Sunday, authorities said, at least 18 people were killed and nine others injured as a result of rain-related incidents in Himachal Pradesh.
Shimla District Magistrate Amit Kashyap said that on Monday schools in Shimla would stay closed owing to heavy rainfall and landslide in the tourist town of Himachal.
