After Indian PM Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping held an informal meet to discuss issues that created setback in relations between the two countries, India strengthened its border with China after the centre decided to build 96 more outposts of 96 Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
Interestingly India's decision to elevate its border security came at a time when the two leaders met in Wuhan and announced their willingness to work jointly. New border outposts will come up in the 3,488 km long Indo-China border which will enable the Indian force to easily resist the Chinese invasion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed by Chinese President Xi Jinping yesterday after which a cultural programme was held to commemorate the meet.
Both leaders decided to meet for informal talks amid various issues including tensions that mounted over the Doklam invasion and many more.
There will only be an unofficial meeting between the two leaders and there won't be any other people except the translators accompanying the leaders during their boat ride and garden visit.
The Wuhan meet has huge significance unlike the previous meetings as this meet will script the future course of relation between the two countries.
