Media Eye News Bureau: Captain Kapil Kundu, along with three other soldiers were killed in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district. However, Pakistani troops continue firing anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM) and heavy mortar shells of 120 mm caliber on the Indian positions.

It was reported that senior officers in Northern Command and formations under it are reviewing the ground situation where the incident took place and that the Indian Army and other security forces are preparing for retaliatory action against the Pakistani activities on the border as well.

Further senior officials of the armed forces and Defence Ministry are reviewing the situation along the border and the villages nearby have been asked to lie low and schools have also been shut.
