Srinagar: As the nation gears up to celebrate Independence Day, a massive ‘Tiranga’ rally was organised on Monday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar district. J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha led the rally, which was a significant part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. Thousands of people participated in the rally, making it a grand success.
The rally started from the Botanical Garden on the banks of Dal Lake and marched to the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Center.
The ‘Tiranga’ rally is part of the government’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, which aims to encourage people to hoist the flag at their homes to commemorate India’s independence.
