On his 69th birthday in a tweet this morning, a day before she is planned to meet him in Delhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Anniversary greetings to Prime Minister @narendramodi ji," wrote on Twitter Ms Banerjee, PM Modi's arch-critic. The leader of the Trinamool Congress also tweeted her greetings for her birthday in Bengali.
It is expected that Ms Banerjee will land in Delhi this evening. Tomorrow, at around 4:30 pm, she will meet PM Modi. This will be the first meeting since the Lok Sabha elections between PM Modi and Ms Banerjee. The problems facing the state are likely to be discussed.
