Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged young scientists to innovate technologies that could pave the way for the development of the nation. Speaking to the scientific community at the 107th Indian Science Congress in Bengaluru on Friday, PM Modi said young Indian scientists needed to ' innovate, patent, produce, and thrive ' to address the common man's problems. PM Modi said schemes such as Swacch Bharat Abhiyan and Ayushmann Bharat have been lauded worldwide because technology has played a major role in the implementation of these flagship programs.Highlighting BJP's commitment to poverty alleviation among rural women, the Prime Minister said it was possible to implement the Ujjwala scheme because of the commitment of the government to use technology to identify the poor.
