Mukul Roy Questioned by C

New Delhi: BJP leader Mukul Roy and Trinamool Congress MP K D Singh were questioned by the CBI on Wednesday, officials said. Roy, who was a close supporter of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee before he broke ranks with the Trinamool Congress (TMC), went to the Agency headquarters here, where he was examined by a group of Kolkata officials, they said.The former TMC leader is an accused in the CBI FIR pertaining to Narada sting operation case, while he had been questioned in the past in Saradha chit fund case.

Roy said he had been notified under 160 CrPC to appear as a witness in the case of Saradha. "They had some queries about the Saradha case. I replied to all their queries. I informed them they could call me as and when they needed," he said on the phone. Roy said he had not been asked any questions concerning Narada.
