Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Bhutan today for a two-day state visit. This is the second visit to Bhutan by the Prime Minister and the first since his re-election as PM. After taking office as prime minister in 2014, Bhutan was Modi's first overseas destination. The Prime Minister's Office announced in a tweet from its official address that " The Prime Minister emplanes for Bhutan. During this important visit, PM will take part in several programmes. This visit would further cement the bond between India and Bhutan".
