New Delhi: India has brought Pakistan to the Global Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for refusing President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi the use of airspace for travel. Islamabad on Sunday announced that it will not be allowing the use of its airspace for PM Modi's flight to Saudi Arabia. Under the ICAO charter, it is unlikely for any nation to refuse the use of airspace by singling out unless its war. Pakistan has a heavy fine to pay, govt.officials said. This is the second time since India's withdrawal of Jammu and Kashmir's special status on August 5, Pakistan has refused PM Modi's use of its airspace. Earlier in September, Modi was denied to permission to fly over Pakistan on his way to New York for United Nations General Assembly.
